Medical Assistant (MA) is one of the most versatile fields one may pursue as a medical career. Medical Assistants are the "utility players" in any health care setting. They do everything from administrative work such as patient reception and admission, scheduling and answering the phone to more clinical duties such as drawing and preparing samples for testing, administering injections, removing suture and checking vital signs.
