Student volunteers time as Easter bunny delivering Easter baskets.

New research by the National Union of Students shows nearly 1/3 of students devote a significant amount of their time to volunteering. Many students said that they volunteer because they want to improve things or help people, and more than half prefer to volunteer for an educational organization or local charity.

Concorde students in North Hollywood are part of this student population who volunteer their time helping area healthcare facilities and clinics. This last weekend they participated in one of their favorite yearly volunteer events. Every year the North Hollywood campus competes to create the best Easter basket creations and then delivers 300+ baskets to sick kids at area clinics. Kaiser Panorama City, Ronald McDonald, Totally Kids, Pacifica Hospital of the Valley, Jr. Blind Institute, Children's Hospital, All Saints and LA Family Housing are just a few who have benefited from Concorde students' commitment to giving back.
