Concorde Quarterly

At Concorde, we're always looking for ways to add value ... for our students, alumni, and prospective students.

One of our latest initiatives - one that in one way or another addresses all three constituencies - is the Concorde Quarterly, our quarterly alumni newsletter that also contains information important to current students and even those who perhaps haven't yet decided to attend Concorde.

What it contains

The latest issue of Quarterly (our second!) was printed and distributed this week, and we're pretty proud of it. Tucked inside its 14 pages are features highlighting accomplishments that our alumni have made, both in their personal and professional lives. There's a letter from the Concorde Student Affairs folks and feature on alumni initiatives the health care career college has planned for 2017. There are stories about our newest degree offering and how to ace the face-to-face interview. You get to meet Concorde's Student Loan Support Center team. And, there is information about how alumni can take advantage of benefits such as event discounts and Concorde class rings.

We're especially proud of this issue's cover feature - Medical Assistant and Concorde - Portland graduate Lucy Vang. Lucy wrote an unsolicited letter to her Concorde family in celebration of her one-year anniversary of employment with her current employer, and what she wrote is a fantastic reminder of what we do daily here at Concorde.

A health care career college that cares

Perhaps you're wondering why we're so passionate about putting out Quarterly. The reason is simple. The success of our alumni and students are a direct reflection on all of our success. It makes us feel good to be able to celebrate with our students at graduation, but it makes us all feel great to hear that, because of Concorde, they're changing lives, including their own. It also reminds us that we are here to support our graduates after they flip the tassel.

Quarterly is being electronically sent to more than 30,000 alumni early next week. Hard copies will be made available in the lobbies of all of our 16 Concorde health care career college campuses around the country. You also can read the latest Quarterly electronically by clicking on a link on the Alumni page at Concorde.edu.
