There is yet more good news for Concorde students and graduates seeking health care careers. The jobs website, Indeed, recently published in Money magazine "The 25 Best Cities for Job Seekers Right Now."

The great news for Concorde students? Thirteen of our 16 campuses just happen to be located in one of the cities on the hot list. Those Concorde students seeking health care careers in one of those cities are in the right place and at the right time. The U.S. unemployment rate is at a near-record low. And, you're training in one of the top job markets in the country.

Let's take a closer look at some of the top job markets and where Concorde sits for those training for health care careers.

Best cities for job seekers in 2017

Let's start with Miami, Fla., which ranks No. 1 on the Indeed list for its 89 percent job market favorability percentile and 100 percent ratings in work-life balance and job security and advancement. Concorde Career Institute - Miramar serves the Miami metropolitan area and offers nine health care programs, including Dental Assisting, Concorde Nursing Programs, and Respiratory Therapy.

Just up the highway from Miami is Orlando, Fla., which sits at No. 2 on the list. Concorde - Orlando offers six programs, including Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting and Nursing and has been serving students in the area since 2009.

A third Florida area, Jacksonville, ranks No. 7 on the Indeed list. For nearly 50 years, Concorde - Jacksonville has trained students in health care fields and currently offers eight programs, including Surgical Technology and Physical Therapist Assistant.

Right behind Jacksonville is San Diego at No. 8. Concorde Career College - San Diego has been training students for more than 50 years and also offers eight programs, including Dental Hygiene, Medical Office Administration and Vocational Nursing. It's one of eight Concorde campuses which has a Dental Hygiene clinic which serves the public low-cost dental care.

Memphis has the most health care careers

Concorde's campus in Memphis, TN. sits in the No. 10 city, according to Indeed, and leads our campuses by offering 16 programs. It's the only campus which offers Health Information Management and Medical Laboratory Technician. In addition, our campus in Southaven, Miss., which offers four programs and joins Memphis as the only two to offer Massage Therapy, sits in the Memphis market.

Los Angeles lands at No. 15 on the list, and its metro area holds three Concorde campuses - Garden Grove, North Hollywood and San Bernardino. Garden Grove and North Hollywood each offer seven programs, while San Bernardino has nine, including Polysomnographic Technology and Neurodiagnostic Technology.

Right behind LA is San Antonio, Texas at No. 16. Concorde - San Antonio offers seven programs and is another campus that hosts a public Dental Hygiene clinic. Tampa, Fla. ranks No. 20 on the list, and Concorde Career Institute - Tampa also offers seven programs, including Concorde's new Pharmacy Technician hybrid program.

Finally, Dallas comes in at No. 24 and holds two of our campuses - Concorde Career College - Dallas and Concorde - Grand Prairie in Texas. Concorde - Dallas offers students eight programs, while Grand Prairie offers six.
