J Jones, neurodiagnostic technology program director at the Concorde–San Bernardino campus, was elected to the board of trustees for ASET–The Neurodiagnostic Society. He was officially sworn in during their annual conference in New Orleans on July 24.

ASET Trustees act as the governing authority for the Society, advance strategic goals consistent with the Society’s mission, and represent the interests of its membership. Trustees serve a three-year term.

“I’m honored to join ASET’s Board of Trustees, where I’ll have the opportunity to help make changes for the betterment of the field. I join an incredible group of professionals who come from all walks of life, but we all share a love and a passion for the advancement of neurodiagnostics,” said Jones.

Jones has extensive experience as a neurodiagnostic technologist and educator. He joined Concorde in 2016 as an instructor in the neurodiagnostic technology program and was promoted to program director in 2024. Prior to assuming the program director role, he also worked in surgery for more than a decade as an Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM) Specialist for Global Monitoring.

Jones is deeply embedded in the local, national and international neurodiagnostic professional community. He is co-chair of the Neuroprofessionals International Consortium (NIC), a joint ASET/ABRET committee. He served as guest faculty and coordinator for the Dr. M. L. He speaks and presents frequently, including at ASET, the California Neurodiagnostic Society, and the African Neurophysiology Society.

He holds an Associate of Science in Neurodiagnostic Technology from Concorde Career Colleges. He holds credentials as a Certified Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) and Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT), and is a registered Electroencephalography and Evoked Potentials Technologist (R.
