FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DENVER, June 29, 2026 – Concorde Career Colleges, the healthcare education division of Universal Technical Institute, Inc., has relocated its Aurora campus to Denver to offer more healthcare training programs in high-demand fields. The industry-aligned programs—designed to help meet local employer needs—are now offered at Concorde-Denver’s 60,000-square-foot facility at 4300 N. Kittredge in Denver, near the I-70 and Peña Blvd interchange.

“Concorde has been part of the Denver metropolitan community for more than a decade, offering education programs that produce strong student outcomes,” said Kevin Prehn, President of Concorde Career Colleges. “By relocating to this larger, more modern space, we’ll be able to provide an additional 200 students with access to these learning opportunities and offer more employers access to a larger pool of skilled talent.”

Among the amenities are expanded simulation facilities, which will allow students to gain hands-on experience with real-life medical scenarios in a controlled environment prior to their clinical externships. Concorde-Denver also plans to offer a larger dental hygiene clinic which, in addition to supporting students’ education, will continue the Aurora campus’s practice of providing low-cost dental checkups to members of the community.

Concorde-Denver also launched a pharmacy technician program as part of Universal Technical Institute, Inc.’s multi-year North Star strategy to address America's shortage of skilled collar and healthcare workers. The first class started this month.

In states like Colorado, demand for skilled healthcare professionals like dental hygienists, practical nurses, pharmacy technicians, and radiologic technologists is significantly higher than the national average, with projected job growth of 13%, 13%, 16% and 17% respectively, between 2022-2032.1

More details about the Denver campus, including a grand opening event, will be announced later this year.
