Meet New Memphis CP Lee Jones

There’s a new sheriff in town. Well, at least at Concorde’s campus in Memphis, Tenn. where Lee Jones becomes the newest Campus President at the health care career college.

Lee comes to us from back east where he worked for several career colleges along the east coast. He worked in many various roles at those institutions, giving him a broad intellectual and tactical base in operating a health care career college.

In this latest installment of “Get to Know Your Campus Presidents,” we’ll learn about Lee’s favorite TV show, his hidden ability to carry a tune and that he comes from a rather large family.

Let’s meet Lee Jones.

WHAT’S BEEN YOUR JOURNEY TO BECOMING A CONCORDE CP?

I have worked in the proprietary education field for the past 15 years. I have worked for several organizations, including Remington College, Cambridge College, Bryant & Stratton College and Centura College. I have worked in several roles, including Director of Admissions, Campus President, Regional Center Director and Regional Director of Operations.

WHAT’S BEEN THE BEST PART ABOUT BEING A CAMPUS PRESIDENT?

I enjoy the interactions with the staff and the students at the campus on a daily basis. I enjoy changing the lives of our students and watching them cross the graduation stage.

IS THERE ANYTHING THAT MAKES THE MEMPHIS CAMPUS STAND OUT?

The Memphis campus has a great staff. I was blessed to have inherited such a professional and knowledgeable staff. Great people to lead and work with.

WHAT’S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU EVER WERE GIVEN?

Always be true to yourself and be the individual that works!

WHAT IS A FAVORITE TV SHOW, RECENT MOVIE YOU’VE SEEN OR BOOK YOU’VE READ?

My favorite TV show is Power on Starz.

WHAT IS A HIDDEN TALENT, FAVORITE HOBBY OR LITTLE-KNOWN FACT PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU?

My hidden talent is that I sing. My favorite hobby is watching sports, especially football. A little-known fact about me is that I have eight brothers and sisters.
