Concorde Career College Memphis is honored to announce the appointment of Winston A. Granville to the Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care as a Representative of Respiratory Care Therapists. Winston led the Respiratory Therapy program in Memphis for a little over 6 years as the Respiratory Therapy Program Director. From there, he was promoted to Associate Academic Dean, a position he has now held for the past year. During his time serving as the Program Director, his program was named a National Award Winner by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care for its pass rates two years consecutively. The Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care, created in 1998, seeks to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of Tennesseans by requiring that all who practice respiratory care within the state are qualified. Winston's individual characteristics and professional qualifications will have a positive impact on the board and the work it does. Tommy Stewart, Campus President said, "We are very proud and honored to have a member of our staff appointed to the Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care. The entire campus is very excited for Winston. Winston's commitment to quality health care and education will contribute to his work with the board. I know he will do a great job and represent Concorde well."

“Without the support of certain instructors … I would not have pushed myself to grasp the concepts and pass my boards on the first attempt. Once I passed my boards, it was less than one month after that I landed my first Respiratory Therapist job where I am currently working with so much joy every day.”
