What you can learn

Concorde can help you serve in a critical role in the operating room, assisting surgery personnel before, during and after surgical procedures, through a practical curriculum that can directly transfer to your first day on the job. Coursework emphasizes these hands-on areas:

  • Proper counting technique for sponges, needles and instruments
  • Passing instruments, supplies and equipment to surgeons
  • Patient care
  • Sterile field preparation
  • Surgeon assistance
