What you can learn

As a student, you’ll get hands-on training in the areas of diagnostic testing procedures and treatments to improve breathing in newborns, trauma victims, drowning victims, and patients suffering from lung and heart conditions. Our program curriculum covers:

  • Bronchodilator
  • Chest physiotherapy
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Pulmonary function testing
  • Ventilator and airway management

Program goals

To prepare graduates with demonstrated competence in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills) and affective (behavior) learning domains of respiratory care practice as performed by registered respiratory therapists (RRTs).
