What you can learn

You can prepare for a career optimizing mobility and physical strength and endurance for those who have suffered injury, illness or have been diagnosed with other medical conditions through Concorde’s real-world curriculum. This program can prepare you to sit for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) following completion of this degree.  Coursework emphasizes the following hands-on areas:

  • Anatomical positions
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), first aid, infection control and vital signs
  • Biomechanics of joint motion, posture and balance
  • Conflict resolution and ethical dispute resolution
  • Etiology, clinical process, and prognosis of common diseases and illnesses
