This Month, one of those topics hits home for many of us here at Concorde Career College: Men's Health Month.
Did you know that men live, on average, six years less than similarly-aged women?
Just like a car, men have a maintenance schedule that they often ignore.
How many of the men in your life do you know that grumble and drag their feet when you encourage them to visit their doctor even if something isn't wrong, add a little less salt to their food at dinner or get out and walk more?
Whether it's brushing off preventative care appointments, failing to adopt heart-healthy lifestyles or disregarding common ailments with treatable symptoms, health care professionals and experts agree: It's time for a tune-up.
