Health Information Technology - (AAS) Online
Health Information Technology professionals are responsible for the accuracy, privacy, and security of electronic health records shared by healthcare providers and their patients.
Concorde’s online degree program provides the training and skills necessary to organize and manage health information needed by patients, hospitals, and insurance companies.
Students earning an Associate of Applied Science degree may expect to find entry-level employment as a Health Data Analyst, Insurance Claims Analyst, Records Technician, Clinical Coding Specialist, or Patient Information Coordinator.
Concorde’s Health Information Technology online degree program is designed for today’s active learners. Students learn on their terms on their devices using the Blackboard learning platform, a market leader for on-line instruction. Blackboard is easy to navigate and provides an effective learning environment with direct access to the instructor at scheduled times for questions and engaged learning activities with other students.
