Kansas City, MO (May 2012) - Concorde Career Colleges Inc. announced today that its Kansas City campus is adding a new Health Information Technology-(AAS) degree program. Students are able to complete Concorde's new Associate of Applied Science degree in as few as 15 months.

"Graduates earning an HIT degree will have opportunities to work in many different healthcare settings and in a variety of occupations."
By 2014, all healthcare providers will be required to use electronic health records. Health Information Technicians are responsible for the accessibility, privacy and security of the electronic health records in medical clinics, hospitals, insurance companies and other healthcare agencies.
Elliott adds that Concorde's new Health Information Technology-(AAS) degree program provides hands-on training and on-site clinical experience, designed to get graduates working in as few as 15 months.
