What better way to end the week than getting to share an inspiring story of success with you.

On behalf of the Portland Surgical Technology Department, we are pleased to announce Jackie Her's induction into the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) National Honor Society as a lifetime member. This is the highest award that can be bestowed on a surgical technology student by the profession and AST.

Jackie graduates this month with a 4.0 GPA and has been a model student to his fellow peers and clinical colleagues.

Congratulations Jackie on your membership into AST's National Honor Society!
